An homage to the song penned by Leon Ware and T-Boy Ross, originally performed by Michael Jackson, and retroactively refreshed by the likes of Willie Hutch, José Feliciano (en español), Ware himself on Marvin Gaye's I Want You and on his own 1976 release, Musical Massage. A masterpiece incidentally - go buy!

Nice! Looking forward to hearing all these versions. It's a terrific song. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThere's also a really good reggae version by a Chicago-based artist named Tony "Big Red" Aiken. Probably really hard to find--I used to have a 45 of it--but worth grabbing if you ever come across it.
Thanks Brett - Never heard of the reggae version you mention but float me a link if you come across one ~
